#1 is a anti freedom gun grabbing company that donates to democrat's who will destroy RKBA and American freedom.

#2 is neutral or donates to the GOP. The obvious choice would be to choose the company that does not harm or better yet furthers liberty.

In a case where every supplier is anti gun. The best action is to do without that item or service while telling them why you will not support that product or service !

The cell phone people seem all anti gun! I will not destroy my I phone 10 because of Apple's communist democrat party agenda.

I will let apple know why I am cancelling my music service and why I will not upgrade to the next new Apple product.

In fact I would NOT have bought the new X phone if I were aware of Apples political contributions.

To conclude fighting for our rights by boycotting whenever possible is a good way to feel good and make their bottom line slightly less profitable.

So ja308, your iron clad boycott against Apple stops at Apple Music? You are really showing them.
No it is more than that and I never implied I have an ironclad boycott against apple.
I will not be replacing my iPhone with a new model ! I also will not be replacing my Mac book pro. There will no doubt be other items produced or sold by Apple that I will not buy, including but not limited to Apple Music.

I will continue to carry my Benchmade auto knife in my free state, except now instead of talking about how I like the Benchmade auto, I will tell all who inquire that Benchmade supports the democrat party and repeal of all RKBA !

Its a shame cal gunners need to be reminded that the biggest mistake a person can make is to do nothing because we can only do a little.

Sold my Benchmades a couple of years ago. They were decent (especially the early axis lock models), but there are plenty of other choices out there.

Thats funny, except these same democrats who are being supported by Benchmade will target knives after they eliminate RKBA!

              See UK knife restrictions.

I'm guessing benchmade board don't read much, else they'd know from UK that once the dems are done with guns, knives will be next

Respect to ja308 for being pretty consistent. It's not about having ZERO affiliation with any anti-2a companies, but at least trying to avoid them if there are better alternatives.

At least you're taking a better stand than most of the resident boot lickers in this state that couldn't even be bothered to lend their signature for a referendum a couple years back.

What consistency? He admits that he still owns and carries a Benchmade.

Well I do need some help on that and who better to ask than an educated, principled cal gunner of your stature.

Seriously though what do you think is better to get the word out on Benchmade and hopefully get them to cut out contributing to dems or at least add a few progun GOP types to their contribution list.

#1 destroy, cut up, send back or otherwise eliminate a $325 auto knife ?

#2 Frequently use the knife in public which always gets noticed in my free state, because even in free states auto knives are attention grabbers. Then tell everyone about how Benchmade supports gun grabbing democrats and this is my LAST BENCHMADE Knife?

What tactic do think has the best chance of getting Benchmade to do the right thing?

                          Neither
The only thing that will get their attention and (maybe) force a change is a vigorous phone, twitter, facebook, mail and e-mail campaign. Destroying your knife would be ludicrous and wasteful. Showing it off would make other people want one.
Flooding their phones and mail etc with why you (all of us) will neither buy nor recommend their products because of what they did will get them to reconsider their evil ways.

Good idea I will send an email and for the record other people do make knives just as good or maybe better than Benchmade.
