I am a of fan bench made auto knives which are legal in my free state.

That said is it time to rethink buying Benchmade products because every contribution went to anti gun dems ?

He's talking about how Benchmade keeps saying they are pro-2a but that they have been donating to Anti-2a politicians for years. I like my Spyderco and Zero Tolerance knives better anyways.

Also Eotech has been donating to Dianne Feinstien.

That was in response to another thing Benchmade did recently, they had helped their local PD cut up confiscated and donated guns and the owner made a response video to that. OP in this thread is now referring to the donations Benchmade has made to anti-2A politicians, Benchmade has not made a statement regarding it yet.

I didn't care either way, I had one Benchmade griptillian and it was alright, I've bought multiple Spydercos and have liked them better.

I do have one (nice) Benchmade that was a gift from an ex girlfriend years ago. Other than that, all my knives are USA made Kershaw's.

Benchmade did respond through one of the gun youtube channels. I understand their reasoning but it was the wrong decision to make, they should never have supported the enemy. Considering who purchases their knives, you'd think they would know better than to support anti gun dems.

Yes they did. They claim that because they operate in a blue state, they're doing it to curry favor with the Democrats for better knife laws. You can read all about it and find links in the other thread. Comments in response to this self-serving justification included the observation that maybe their state is blue because people like them keep giving money to gun-grabbing Democrats.

Regarding the claim that Benchmade is giving money to influence dems for better Oregon knife laws. Has any of these dems introduced a knife law that benefits the Oregon knife owner ?

I know one Oregon dem was OK, the others and the out of state dems are not.
