    Brownell's new AR-180

Looks like Brownell's is coming out with a AR-180 upper in their Retro line. Any takers?

Looks cool. The fact that it is an AR15 compatible upper will make it more accessible to us in CA. Wonder if the various compliance kitsch will work with it.

Pretty cool. My dad owns a Howa AR-180. Love that gun

Slick side. As exactly as they should be.

Oh crap, I had an AR-180 I bought new in the '80's, long before I owned an AR-15. Except I couldn't use stanag mags like I would with this thing. Plus the recoil springs on mine weren't captive.

Wonder if they cooked up something for a folding stock to go with it. I'd hate to spend $200 on a LAW Tactical setup.

The BR 180 upper paired with a fight lite lower would be pretty cool.

I'd like that 180 upper to create a clean folding stock AR based rifle, but I keep waking up in California and there the dream ends.

I already own a Daewoo K2 and keep it in NV, so I can still go to my happy place.

For a fixed magazine build, this might be a great choice...you don't run into the problem of a jam making it impossible to open up the gun.

                        Needs retro style handguards.

Agreed, the modern fore-end is kind of a buzzkill.

I had a 'Woo too, but it got stole. One big benefit of this thing is a fast twist (I assume) and easy optics mounting.
