Hell F'in yes.

Carlsbad police, they are great. Numerous license plate readers at most large intersections. High income residents with lower than the usual "low life" factor. Crime is very low here.

Most of California was like this town 50 years ago.

Either they still don't report it or they really cracked down hard on the barrio area in the last few years. My cousin and his friends were robbed at knifepoint a few years ago on Harding st. My friends son was jumped and robbed on pine right by the parks center a couple years back.
