I failed with my daughter. She refused to go shooting with me due to her fear of guns.

Amazingly, her husband has since flipped her and she now enjoys going to the range.

It's never too late, I suppose.

She shot my full size M&P9 as well as my 4506. She shot the Shield best. I'm going to get her some pistol training, too.

I gave my little girl a pistol for protection and taught her how to use it when she left to go to Nevada University. Since she turn 21 I have been getting great dad presents.

bako88fan,,,,,,, That’s awesome! Keep those memories and take your kids out as much as possible. My daughter and son both trained on Glock 9mm’s starting at age 12. As soon as the daughter turns 21 here shortly, I’m taking her to get her firearms safety certificate and then she will get “hers” permanently.

We took the DNA clones out to shoot last week. They shot various Glock 9mm’s, S&W wheel guns, some .38Super 1911’s and some 10mm’s too. Great family fun.

Taking the family out to qualify..... ughhhhh, I’m mean “train,” is the most fun a dad can ever have.
