FCKING Idiot - He should have stayed in the city.
Momma bear just protecting her cubs.
This is what happens when city folks move out of the city and FCK up where they move to (They try to make it like the SHT hole they just left). I'm a city folk by the way.
I have soooooooo many stories of people with too much money moving to a beautiful area, Building huge homes and then complain when the locals start eating their freshly planted non native landscape or Shting on their front porch.
Ohh noooo There are Elk in my front yard What am I going to do. (You just built a House in Elk valley you Dumb SHT. Your going to have a few 100 LBs of Elk SHT to clean up out of your front yard in the Spring LOLOLOLOL.
Oh NOOOO their's a moose that moved into my barn for the winter, What am I going to do. Does that idiot know how many people would give almost anything to switch places with him. Moose are very aggressive though.
By the way, more people are killed / severely injured by Deer than by Bear, Elk, Moose combined - FCKING Idiots.

That sounds completely normal, at least for more than a few Californians. Note the number of posts here favoring birdshot for home defense...absolutely stupid.

Second mistake = posting a grizzly thread on Calguns and watching the responses from the majority who've never seen a bear in the wild.

The Idaho-Montana border is a full day's drive from Boise.

Before moving into bear country I would study what the experts advise!

I will review the Timothy Treadwell tape and get back to you!

Could have fooled me, when I was there on business the guys at our supplier had hair and beards like Leo DiCaprio in the revenant.

It's actually called a "ramrod", not a pump.

Settle down, folks. The new "ghost gun" regulations probably don't do what you think they do.

Have seen lots of bears in CA but never seen a Grizzly here. With birdshot I'll be screwed if a 400lb Grizzly attacks me in my house, but just based on this video and seeing how birdshot to the leg knocked that Grizzly down, I'll be ok with birdshot against bad guys weighing up to at least 300lbs maybe more unless I miss, I won't be firing any scare them off shots or be aiming at leg.

The dude just hadn't watched enough Alaska Bush People.

Birdshot will just piss a Grizz off. When I lived in Alaska I carried a .45 with these rounds.

Most of my friends there carry a 10mm with Buffalo Bore rounds.

Had he been using 5.56, the bullet to leg would have like totally tumbled and took out either the heart or brain.
