Here's a proper sight picture you should strive for.

Your "offhand" groups for 25yds are pretty decent for just learning irons. Learn to focus on the front sight, target slightly blurry. My NM AR15A2 also groups 2" below target center at 25yds for a 100yd zero.

So do I after many years. It's normal to wobble a bit when you are a senior. Put it on bags and it's bullet hole on top of bullet hole. Bad guys will still eat lead unsupported at 25 yards. One thing that really helped was installing KNS crosshair front site posts, no more wondering where the center really is.

I found the pic and it looks like it originated from the truglo website, on a page dedicated to a tall front sight intended for a low front rail:

So in other words, I think the sights you have are compatible with a same plane gas block rail.
            my Benitez goes to 11

I have mbus sights on my free float tube and flat top which are on the same plane. Works fine for me.

If yours is the top picture with the same plane gas block use standard sights, just like if you had a full rail.

If you have the bottom picture with the lower gas block, companies make taller front sights for lower gas blocks. Like troy offers some for different height gas blocks etc.

The KNS crosshair site posts really do their thing with a quality red dot like Aimpoint. Dead center, every time. No more guessing.
