Mayor Matthew Ryan initially said the gunman had a high-powered rifle but law-enforcement sources later told NBC that he had actually used two handguns.

I have read that that he had both...Ill see if I can find the article again I read a few today and they all are running together now.

KCBS news at 3pm just said he had a 9mm handgun with "extended clips" and a .45 handgun, along with a backpack with survival gear and extra ammo. I guess the "survival gear" didn't work out so well.

I don't believe their setups but I do believe the media is just preying on what the masses want to see.

I mean a little while back when that mine collapsed on those miners in PA, the media was ALL over that, I remember for about a month long you'd see random mining stories from all over the globe being posted on quite a few news sites.

There were shooting when times were very good. Now times are bleak and not looking better you will see more of this stuff. PLUS THE NEWS WILL PUSH THIS IN FRONT OF EVERYONE TO GIVE THE GUN BAND GROUP SUPPORT.

Its normally considered polite to not open several threads about one topic already being currently discussed. Its not "post nazi's" as you put it. Its how this forum usually operates. As many know, we are a self policing type of forum, this helps lighten the load from the moderators and admins. If you didnt see your question asked in the other topic, all you have to do is post your question in that thread, theres usually no need to open a whole new thread regarding it. And No, you dont have to go thru a committee, you just have to know how to use the search button. You dont like it, theres always other forums you can go to. and thats me saying frankly IDGAF if you stay or go, but if you stay, at least be polite enough to follow the format laid out for the forum.
