    Market place deal pulled HUH?

I won't name names, but I recieved Payment info email at 9:51 mon night. I think I was wrapping up my day at that time and I never saw it. On my way home tues at 5:18, I get a "Deal retracted due to lack of response" text.
Is it me or is this a little unreasonable???
So I offered to send payment when I got home but the seller said he had someone else lined up.

I can understand if the seller had many offers and perhaps needed the money, they might feel you were not responding and panic going to another buyer.

Seller is prolly tired of dealing with the flakes here.
He figures he gave you a day to pay, there was no payment so he moved on.
I can't count the amount of times i waited for 2 days for payments and never received them . I don't blame him / her. If you want to buy something , pay for it in a timely manner .

Really? Did you miss the time? Also, I tried to close the deal the day before, seller wanted to send me pics first, said he would do it in the morning because he was going to bed? I've never had trouble buying before, seems to me you agree to something you should do it, common sense says a guys gotta work during the day.

Nope... you got the payment info at 9:51
Why was payment not sent at 9:52?

So even assuming that you're away from home for work 11 hours including your commute, you still had until 6am to send payment.

Did you respond to the email with payment info with "Great, I'll get this to you as soon as I get home from work tomorrow"? or did you just leave him hanging?

I might have given you a full 24 hours... but likely not longer.

Why weren't phone numbers exchanged, and a voice exchange happening?

Personally, I don't think that's a reasonable amount of time. But it is go go go generation/times. Plus, there can be lots of variables to these situations.

Communication goes both ways, seller could've said "I expect payment within X amount of hours."

iTrader also has a lot to do with it. The more feedback you have, the more rope sellers give you. Even just a few good feedbacks helps a lot. I would be sure to over-communicate and monitor/respond to PMs frequently until you can build yours up.

If you knew you had a deal in the works, you should have been checking your email. Not the sellers fault.

I think 24 hours might have been reasonable, but don't you get a lunch break?

As stated above, do a few easy deals here and get some I-Trader points.
Some folks here don't care, but it will improve your odds with others.
