A lot of it has to do with overly optimistic sellers hoping to recoup 98-200% of what they paid for their gun new, after putting "less than 200 rounds down the pipe."


Also, a lot of people just aren't buying much anymore. Right now there's not much reason to buy anything unless you REALLY want it. No major impending laws are about to go into affect, no upcoming political defeats on the horizon, it's just... business as usual.

I haven't DROS'd a single gun since 2016, when I DROS'd something like 12 guns.

Local stores have mentioned that. Apparently compared to the rush during the elections, the market is "dead", but on average, it's so-so now.

Some stpres that opened up during a boom in gun sales are probably not aware that the market goes up and down and they need to be saving during the boom to cover costs during the lulls...
