You need a magnum rifle. Ft lbs of energy, that's why.

You need a heavy bareled +20" AR and AES 10 b. For sustained fire situations.

+8" 460 S&W for fishing trips and nights out on the town.

6 lbs deer rifle in .270

You are missing a Ruger Blackhawk/Super Blackhawk and Ruger 10/22.

I am more impressed by your having a spreadsheet than by its contents.

          I should make one too.

Are you trying to have a more well-rounded collection?

Here are some categories you might consider:

Historical Western: Colt Single Action Army or clone, Winchester 1892

Historical Military: M14/M1A, M1 Garand, Springfield 1903A3, Swedish Mauser, Swiss K31 etc.

          Magnum Revolver: S&W Models 19/66, 29/629, 586/686

Clay Target Shotgun: Browning Citori, Beretta A400, CZ All-American

Or just spend your next $1,000 upgrading the stock on your Remington 700. Manners PRS1 or T4A if you like traditional stocks.

If you like chassis, maybe the KRG Whiskey-3 with enclosed handguard upgrade (best looking chassis in my opinion).

Whoa!?! A lot of ideas... Lots of shopping to do, indeed. And DANG! I will need a WAY BIGGER safe than what I have right now. Hahaha!!!

Desert Eagle - Tried it once at FT3. Indeed it has both WOW and FUN factor, but, I'm seeing it being relegated to just a safe queen.

Ruger 10/22 - Yeah, I'm actually planning on getting this as well. Primary reason is getting both my boys into firearms.

Pump shotgun - Why a Mossberg instead of the 870?

SA M1A - Already in my To Get list.

Glocks - I am a lifetime GSSF member, and can get Blue Label prices. I have the 20 and 21SF somewhere down the line.

1911 - Unfortunately, not a fan. One 1911 is enough for me... Maybe, if I have spare cash and I can get the more $$$ ones like Les Baer, Nighthawk, etc.

Rimfire Pistol - I guess the GSG 1911 is not enough? Whoa!?! on the S&W 41!?!

Revolers - Woot! That Blackhawk looks enticing!?!

Just keep buying things that are interesting, fun and don’t put you in the poorhouse.
Hahaha! I guess this was borne out of my day job. Other fields in the sheet actually had the serial numbers and links to photos.

I'd recommend a bolt action .22 to get the kids into firearms. They learn to make every shot count.

              Something like this.

It is an awesome gun. I did the Mesa M4 style hydraulic buffer and it is amazing, cuts recoil down to almost nothing.

You're gonna sit at your keyboard, calling yourself a gun owner, and tell me you don't have no M1A, M1 garand, AR10, AUG, Colt Python Blue, Colt Python Stainless, Tommy Gun, Model 29 with or without the lock, or one single Ruger MK IV?

Get a Wilson, Guncrafter or Nighthawk 1911 .45....then you can actually say you have a 1911...
Wilson Protector .45, Springer 9mm Loaded, Franchi Instinct SL .12ga. and some other cool stuff for the kiddos...

Tang mounted safety (not as useful if you run a pistol grip), slide release rear of the trigger guard, dual extractors, easy replacement of the ejector as well as other parts (like you'll need to replace things), rugged as all hell, and I'm bias.

Not to say the 870 is a poor choice by any stretch, just stay away from the newer express models (not the same as the old). Really all comes down to preference so go put your grubby little fingers on 'em and see what makes your pickle dance.

Mossberg if you simply want to be able to shake it to scare away bad people.
870 if you want a steel receiver, not a rattling soda can.

I just attached a classic Limbsaver over the weekend, and re-adjusted the LOP to my fit. Am seeing if I can take it to the range this weekend to try out...

Makes sense. I was looking at the contemporary 870s - and they feel "cheapy."

Although my first purchase would be the CZ 75 SP-01 at my LGS' sale this weekend, will also check out the Mossberg!
