All the real ones I have, have the RAISED trijicon logo, welded seams on the top of the eye piece and a serial number stamped on the two places right where the eye piece and main body meet. They will also say the magnification 4x32 (etc) on the lens when you look through them in the black below the reticle.

I have multiple ACOGs the tritium is cool but it's practically is questionable at best. Got rid of all my fiber optic versions too. Trijicon should just make a scope with no illumination for $400 and sell the crap out of it.

Dude, I found a knock-off Eotech while I was in China on my last trip. I could have gotten it for about $40-50 but decided not to go for it. It would have just been a novelty for me but didn't want to spend money on something I wouldn't use ever.

Customs can charge you the cost of the real version of a knockoff if you try and bring a fake with you.

I was going to bring a handful of very cheap, poor quality Montblanc counterfeits back from China as gag gifts, they were that bad, but I was not willing to risk the $2500 fine over a laugh.
