thats just one of many advantages outside of Cali. The only thing Cali has on most free states is the weather, and it aint enough to keep many of us there

when I ride my motor from Kali into az I don't bother to go OC, just keep it cc ,
having the az permit I just keep going cc when I head into Nevada, in a truly free country we wouldn't have to worry about permits or your choice of loc or cc

Ironically, Tombstone used to be the only place you couldn't open carry in the state, courtesy of the Earps.

Only californians get wood at the idea of open carry.

Were you carrying nickel-plated period-correct revolvers?

They changed that law a number of years ago.

But when our club used to shoot many years ago on the Tombstone range, the RO's would remind us that open carry was illegal in town.

OC is allowed in Mo but you rarely see it. I know a lot more people CC in Mo.
The liberal see's the glass as half full and tries to take more.
The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.
I'm with the people on the side just pouring water in the glass trying to get a drink!

I've seen the same in my part of AZ.

Not many people venture out where open carry is normal. I was out yesterday in the desert open carrying and had a machine gun in the passenger footwell. I am not the norm but a few guys drive around like that. A friend that lives in Glendale, AZ has a beater MAC10 mounted to his atv when he rides. The full timer that lives by my private range carries a wheel gun on him when he rides his utv. I still see men and women open carrying around my neighborhood but most of them are ranchers coming in from Wickenburg area shopping for stuff they can't get locally. The other popular category are young guys that do the tourist open carry. You see pristine condition guns and holsters and you know they are just there to tourist carry.

When you live in a state like MO or TX where open carry is almost impossible due to years of prohibition and leftists banning it at retail establishments the chances of even seeing it will be extremely rare. I don't open carry around town because I never know when I might have to go to a store that bans it but if I am on my way to or from the desert I have no problem walking into a gas station or grocery store while open carrying.

There are lot's of people in Texas that open carry but there are many establishments thst dont allow it. Those that open carry just avoid these places as much as they can or they leave there gun in their car/truck. And there are places that state carry by permit is also not welcomed. It's just the way it is.

I open carry pretty frequently, mainly because I don't feel like wearing a big shirt when I carry my G22, and I CC in colder weather. I know which establishments in my area prohibit OC and I simply don't go there, even when I'm CC'ing. I carry in a Level II Safariland holster and just go about my business without making a big deal about the fact that I have a gun, so I've never had any interactions, good or bad, in my area. I don't know, maybe people think I'm off duty LE, or maybe people don't care about a handgun after seeing people OC rifles a lot a few years ago. Either way, I haven't had any interactions.
