I would actually be bearish on future gun values from an asset preservation or value perspective especially in the collectors world. Let's be honest, the number of firearms owners is declining and when some of the old guys kick the bucket, those collections are going to hit the market with low demand.

Think about migration patterns of young adults heading into urban core cities. I'm sure gun count is growing but it's getting concentrated into a smaller segment of society.

Getting the word out to the youth is key as we need to grow the number of owners to continue having the voter base to defend the 2nd amendment.

i gave up counting my black powder collection some time ago and my "modern" stuff is probably under a hundred. i buy whatever pleases me when i stumble across it but i spend less than many people do on recreational drugs and alcohol. do i can whether I shoot them or not? Not really since my children will inherit them one way or the other.
