Excellent point. I do tend to run most of my guns wet. Wwb and pmc seem to run dirty.

    Makes sense.

A turd and a shart have the same ingredients, but one is a helluva lot more uncomfortable in your work trousers.

The aluminum Federal 9mm is around $9 for 50 rounds and is much cleaner than WWB.

you can really see how dirty some are if you have a non-black gun. The nose of my FDE glock becomes Glock Gray at the end of a range session with the wwb. But I clean it, so I don't care. I also had light primer strikes when I changed out some springs, but only on the wwb, so back to stock it went.

Their isn't anything wrong with WWB ammunition.

Using a decent iron sight stock Sig 210, with fifty rounds of wwb, in position shooting, can easily hold the 9 ring or better on a B-27 target at fifty yards, day in and day out.

For some reason, shooters who shoot at small targets at fifty yards for score on a regular basis complain the least about how dirty & inaccurate wwb is supposed to be. And those that find 50 yard pistol targets a challenge, and rarely do so for any reason with even less success, complain about wwb the most.

WWB is good range ammo and usually at a good price.
Shot a ton of it in IDPA.

Kinda what I was thinking as well. Can't say I noticed or cared if WWB was any different or dirtier

it's not the ammo it's the shooter

some people just dont like to admit it's shooter error or lack of training / skill

and always blame the ammo first, even though it could me themselves or the gun itself

I have WWB 7.62X39 from the late 80s and early 90's that I still use in my Chinese AK and SKSs..

I bought 1000s of rounds back then since they were the only cheaper non corrosive available back then..

Always function and have never had any slamfires.. I do, however, make sure the firing pins in the SKSs are free to move within their channels.

I've shot dozens of thousands of rounds of it in many calibers before loading my own. Never had a problem I can remember.

I have also shot many thousands of rounds of WWB, mostly 45 acp, and a little 9mm.

I clean after every trip so build up has never been and issue for me.

Only problem I ever had was one Squib with a 45 ACP round. I heard it (sounded like primer fire only) and cleared it.
