If you eliminate the capability of the bolt to lock back on the last round, you’ll be able to tilt the upper and operate the maglock. Only problem is that it will be able to tilt all the way open, so it will not function as well as designed.

All you would need to do is Dremel the bolt catch. It’s a cheap part and easy to replace down the road if you buy a milspec bolt.

OK, so I bought the kingpin for nothing? That sucks. what do I do if I get a double feed? Can't separate the upper with the bolt locked back, am I screwed their too?

Juggernaut tactical has a video how do you clear double feeds with their system on their website. I do believe this method will work for you for clearing double feeds

No idea. I'd just like to share mine doesn't work. When I press it to drop the mag once disassembled it just pivots out and doesn't release it. If I tighten it anymore it hits the side of the receiver.

What I dont understand is you said you have the kingpin installed on your rifles which are piston systems correct? if that's the case then why won't it work on mine?

My piston rods are not connected to the BCG. PWS has a proprietary design that is different from others

Sorry with all the questions, I just feel like I'm screwed because even if I shave the bolt catch so it doesn't lock to the rear, I'm still SOL if I get a double feed because the bolt won't be forward enough for the kingpin to separate. Correct?

This is correct but there are other methods to clear the double feed.

Remember the primary function of the system is to lock the mag which it does

My solution. I filed the mag latch. Bought some white pmags and dremeled off the corner at a angle.
Now last shot fired and bolt slams home. I keep a screwdriver handy to pop the mag bottom with misfeeds. God how I hate this state.
