When I left the show on Saturday at closing time, cops had 2 guys in custody across from the gate entrance. I notice they had plastic shopping bags from the show. I wonder what the cops got them for. Same cops that park their car by the exit of the show.
Human life is the most precious of achievements on Earth. For one to choose not to protect and preserve it is to show the utmost disrespect for life.

I'm imagining standing next to the cop with a giant sign that says, "THIS SELLER IS A COP."

Sounds like they might have funding issues...and instead of actually running stings they are instead using fliers to deter criminals.

I had a buddy call me yesterday(3/29) to ask me if a Klashnikov USA saiga 12 was legal.
I think he said it was being sold here on calguns. I told him it's a banned A.W. and it's bait for a prison term and tell the seller to eff-off.

Hmm, that may be legal if properly configured.. Did Kalishnikov import any Saiga-12's? Or is someone mistaken in either the brand, or the caliber?

I don't see Kalishnikov USA Saiga listed in the shotgun AW lists, so shouldn't it be legal since only the Kalishnikov USA Saiga rifles are listed?

Obviously it would need to in a legal configuration with a fixed-mag.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

I know Klasknikov USA Saiga is on the list. Shotgun or not thats too close for me to give my buddy a green light. I'd be pretty upset if it was a set up and he got popped.

The Saiga 12 Shotgun would need to have a RaddLock.

I know this but a Klashnikov USA Saiga 12? The RAA Saiga isn't listed but a K.USA is. The exact same thing but one is on the list and the other isn't.

I was at the gun show today and was looking at a k98 mauser when the guy selling it told me that becasue it was a C&R rifle i would be able to buy it from him and bring it home today. I told him that i did not have a C&R liscence so i would have to do the 10 day waiting period. I had never heard of something like this before and was pretty excited, but was not sure if it was legal or not. I didn't want to get myself into trouble so i passed on the deal.

My question is, what is the legality of purchasing a C&R rifle with the "cash and carry" policy and not having to wait the ten days?

was the guy selling it a dealer, or a private party? If a dealer, then you would need to do the 10-day wait. But if a private party, as long as it was over 50 years old, you could have cash and carried that piece home right then.

If he was a C&R 03FFL or a private party and the rifle was 50+ years old, cash and carry is legal.
