Ok I got the denial letter, it says I was denied because Illegal Alien - Brady - 18 USC 922(g)(5). Any person who, being an alien, is illegally or unlawfully in the United States. LOOOOOOOOOOOL Im looking at my naturalization certificate now.
Wasted all my money and embarrassed myself in front of everyone. Any suggestions on next step? It came stapled to NICS Guide for Appealing a Firearm Transfer. and under NTN: it has no number listed, so I really do not know what to do now.
On the denial letter at the bottom it says "you may contact a NICS Customer Service Representative at" and it lists a phone number which leads to a phone number saying I won money, basically not even the right phone number. IM A US CITIZEN, cant believe im going through this.
Should I make an appointment with immigration? LOL cannot believe this. I became a citizen in 2012.
EDIT: On the nics appeal form on their website it says "Please include the NICS Transaction Number (NTN) for all of the transactions you wish to appeal. Be aware that if you have any NTNs which were denied in the past and never overturned, and you don't provide them to the NICS at this time, it could cause erroneous denials on your future purchases."
So I have none of that information because it was not included.
