    Can't Find These Screws!!!!

Hey guys, so while I was installing my first Free Floating Handguard on my first rifle (SW M&P15) My magnetic tray got hit and fell to the ground launching 4 of the 6 bolts needed to secure the guard to the barrel nut. Can't find them in my mess of a garage.

I've been looking everywhere and I can not find this size anywhere! Measured the screws and they're 10/32 x 1/4 but the closest I can find all start at 3/8 then skip straight to 1/2 and up.

Anyone know where I can get some more of these screws? I don't feel comfortable shooting when I'm missing 4 screws lol

    THANKS

    I would just shorten the 10-32 x 3/8 screws.

There is a big hardware selection at the true value hardware store. PCH & Santa Fe. If he does not have it. You are going to have to make your own. Or order from S&W.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

DIY Center has a whole aisle dedicated to bolts, screws, nuts, springs, pins, etc. if you're ever by one drop on in. Was directed to DIY from a brody employee at auto zone when I needed a bolt for a car I owned

Tried the usual spots; Lowes, Home Depot, Ace. There is a spot in Stanton and all they sell are nuts n bolts, thinking that's a good option. Going to call them tomorrow.

Ace hardware has bins marked "gun screws". You might find them there.

Took Cuda's advice and purchased a pack of 25 from McMaster Carr. Under 10 bucks and I'll have a lot of extras lol

Thanks for the quick help guys, I knew I could count on you

This. My Ace actually carries gun screws. That's how the boxes are labeled in the pull out drawers. I found this out over the weekend and was able to replace some scope ring screws that went missing.

So, you prefer a completed gun vs covered light switches? Think of the children!
