I’ve tried this stuff, it’s been around for a few years now. Works ok, nothing that other solvents don’t or can’t do. I’ll agree with OP, there isn’t much smell, if any.

But I still find myself using the old bottle of Hoppes more often than this.

If I remember I got the wipe-out and Blue wonder from Graf and sons or Cabelas

I got the Wipe-Out from Graf and Sons and bought a case of it so I did not run out.

Another vote for Wipe Out, really effective for cleaning rifle bore, spray it, watch if foam, and just come back after 2 or 3 hours so you can dry-patch the bore.

My local Sportmans Warehouse sells foaming Wipe Out, perhaps another option if someone wants to try it.

If you don't like the smell, you can always put up one of these air fresheners.

I had the same epiphany a wile back and found Bore-Tech. Smells good and doesn't harm your firearms. The copper remover can sit in the bore indefinitely.

I am old and don't recall cleaning my guns.... only way for me to confirm is by smelling the bore. LOL

Wipe out is a foam that you leave in the bore and then "wipe" it out with a patch.
No brushing required so there is less potential for damaging the bore with a brush and lots and lots of moving a rod down the bore.

I grew up with guns; I grew up with Hoppe's #9. In my mind they're inseparable.

I also use Blue Wonder and Sweet's 7.62, but Hoppe's is always the last solvent down the bore before oiling.

I usually clean my guns at the dining room table with Hoppe's, my house smells like Victory.
                                YES. Hahaha.

Seriously, though... Breakfree CLP is *almost* odorless when compared to Hoppes No. 9.

                                I like them all.

Speaking of hydrocarbon derivatives as aphrodisiacs, though; I dated a gal years ago who seduced me in my garage after she smelled the 90W gear lube I had in a pan on the bench. "omg I LOVE that smell." She was from Michigan if that means anything.
