Help for Carry laws for camping.

I am going camping soon for spring break. I haven't picked a place to go yet, but itll be me and my gf. I am thinking I will just bring the 870 along for defense. A few questions. Can I leave it loaded? Can I carry it around with me? Can it be loaded when I am carrying it?

Sorry if its been discussed before. Thanks guys

    cant OC in state parks

if its a national forest or BLM you should be okay, when in doubt call the ranger station before you go. Also know where the borders are so you do not wander into an illegal area.

regardless of where you are, you can have a firearm within your designated camp and tent. I try and keep it low profile and keep everything in the tent and lock it up in the truck if I hike (and am in a state park).

post where you are going, im sure others here can help
