    Range surprise

I was checking in at my favorite outdoor range when I was told I was getting in at no-charge. I was informed that someone before me had paid the entrance fee for the next veteran who walked up which happened to be me! Thanks to that person, greatly appreciated.

That was a nice start to my last shooting expedition for 6-9 months as I am getting rotator cuff surgery on Tuesday in my shootin' shoulder. It was painful shooting but I had to do it one last time.

Nice gesture! Pay it forward....I’ve done that for people at restaurants just for the hell of it once in a while. Hope you heal up nice and quick op! I like that you endured the pain one last time before you’re laid up.

      I do that occasionally at fast-food drive-throughs.
I pay for the vehicle behind me.

A very kind gesture! Good luck with the surgery- been there, done that and am grateful for it. Do what your doctor and PT nurse say.

Try paying the toll on the Bay Bridge for the guy behind you. Half the time they'll actually argue with the toll taker because they can't believe someone would do anything like that.

Yeah, someone paid the toll for me on the Richmond Bridge, no idea why.

Paying it forward is almost always better than paying it back. It kinda makes the world go around better.

Good luck OP! Hope you heal well to shoot again.

Randoms acts of kindness generally make someone's day especially if they look like they could use a break. A decade of so back a guy was trying to get his family with three kids to oregon where his father in law says they could stay. They lost a started and had the van impounded. The guy had no money for anything other than money for one meal at Carl's JR. He found a shop that would give him a used starter if he did some work for them. The roseville cops got his vehicle out of impoundment and when they brought him back the cops gave him $20.00 gas. I chipped in a hundred for gas and another fifty for groceries that i paid for. his father in law called me and said he would get a check in ten days and pay me and the cops back. I told him to pay it forward but thanks anyway. These were old cops about to pull the retirement plug and we could not have felt better that night. worth ever dime spent.

I gave a homeless guy all the loose change in my pocket the previous night so I guess it does come around!

                            That was Great

I had someone pay for my house upgrade. I was shocked, and still do not know who or why.
