    I cannot believe...

    ...the title of this thread.

    Seriously?

Are your firearms laws in California more or fewer than they were a decade ago?...two decades?

What's the forecast for the next 4 or 8 years?

The last time the anti's were winning - assault weapons ban - they were subsequently swept out of control of the House for the first time in generations. They're making the same mistake yet again which I'm grateful for.

We have the NRA. The same one it's always been.

        So that would be: Us.

They have Bloomberg and Soros, each who have spent millions in Nevada, here, and other states, only to repeatedly lose, try new names of their organizations... all to lose again.

Where are the "Million Moms" again? Who is "Handgun Control, Inc." now? What has "Mayors Against Illegal Guns" become? (this year?).

"Moms Demand Action" will be something else by 2020 as their 'demand' is already fading. "Everyclown" for gun safety will be yet something else by next year once the jig is up.

        .

Which side has the bigger mouth?

Which side can back up what they say with force if need be?

Slowly but surely the tide has turned in our favor. The other side knows it and is desperate to get as much as they can on the books while they still can. Expect a lot of shrieking wailing and gnashing of teeth for the next few years, though.

Which side has to pay their supporter to go out and protest? Take away the money and the protestors leave. That is how committed the antis are.

The NRA is relatively small at 5 million but it is a very strong voice. It does not have the big bucks to spend compared to the progressive left, but it spends the money wisely and has people willing to donate time and energy. Their message gets out to the people that needs to hear it. Politicians know the NRA is backed by people who actually vote. They deliver.
Anyone can look around and see the damage to the state and country inflicted by bad politicians.

A vote is clearly much more dangerous than a gun.

Why advocate restrictions on one right (voting) without comparable restrictions on another (self defense) (or, why not say 'Be a U.S. citizen' as the requirement for CCW)?

When the opposition is characterised as children snorting condoms and eating tide pods instead of being treated as a serious and dangerous enemy we lose.

              Never underestimate the enemy.
