The shooters that I know are too embarrassed to discuss...Nevermind, it's your money.

My GF has work related conventions she attends in Vegas and she likes me to go with her for company in the evenings . I don't gamble nor drink much. Choice is hang around the hotel room during the day or go to FS. So, going to FS for a few days of shooting is money well spent for $50 yearly fee. It is cheaper than a couple of hours of range time.

Now, if someone is serious about training yeah there are better places. I look at it as free (more or less) range time seeing I am already nearby. As mentioned in a previous post I also got my UT & NV CCW taken care of the first time.

My money ($79 + $50) was well spent.

The guys I know spent tens of thousands of dollars, that's right, thirty, forty grand on some BS. I never knew these guys had that much money and I especially didn't know they would fall that sheet.

Well, those are the types of guys that also buy timeshares

If I wanted to spend tens of thousands of dollars on training I'd fly in some of the top instructors in the country a week at a time each month. Most charge $500 - $600 per day. Much better return on one's investment.

No. No I have not.

And I won't give a person money who puts a fake fire hydrant in front of the Activity Center in an attempt to mislead Nevada's Fire Marshal during an inspection.

When I want to go recreational shooting or training I'll spend my money with a facility that has a reputation for learning at a higher skill level, and that conduct business at a publically known status base of integrity.
