If anyone else needs one I can keep posting it.
Not if you want to legally eat at a restaurant in AZ any better than McDonalds while carrying. You'll need the actual CCW if they serve alcohol.

Hunter safety certificate works well. Did mine for $10 back a few years.
God may have made men, but Samuel Colt made them equal.

Send me pics of your: Colt Detective Special, AMT Hardballer, pre-64 Winchester Model 70. I'm looking for them.

There are many other benefits and states that will accept the AZ non-resident CCW.

              Correct me if I'm wrong.
That's how I got my AZ CCW... Using my UTAH CCW..

And my AZ is recognized in Nevada as well..

The reason to get the AZ ccw is it is good in other states.
Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

It is Constitutional carry, but you still need a permit resident or not to step foot in anywhere that even serves alcohol. So if you plan to go and eat at any restaurants, you better get the permit..

                    Thank you this helps.

But if you are a resident of AZ do you still need a CCW to carry in AZ?

Or do people do it for the benefits of carrying in another state?

Arizona does not require a CCW to carry concealed in most places. There are several advantages to having an Arizona CCW, even for Arizona residents. First, an Arizona resident can purchase a gun and the automated background check is skipped if the purchaser has an Arizona CCW. Also, there are some places in the state where a CCW holder cannot carry while a CCW can. Lastly, the Arizona CCW is accepted in a great number of States, I believe 39, but could be off by one or two.

                            $60 cashiers
                            Copy of hunters safety cert.
                            Completed application
                            Two fingerprint cards

And off it goes to the wonderful land of AZ. 6-8 weeks turnaround is what i am told to expect.

And there are states that don’t require any of this nonsense. Open carry and conceal carry with NO permit is a way of life to thousands and thousands of Americans. This is a fact. I am former LE and military and never had to go through any bs classes to get my permits. Maine no permit required. Enough said there.
