No point in wasting a good SSE registration on a plinker IMO. If they are gonna know i own something it might as well be something i would trust my life with.

      FYI.

Engraving it's serial number on to a home built (80%) firearm does nothing for the legal status of the home built firearm.

Legally, your home built (80%) firearm needs to have your legal name and city where it was made engraved on the firearm.

Since the make/model of the firearms are different, does not matter if both firearms have the same serial number.
^Engraving it's serial number on your home built, does not switch the registration data on the firearms.

Engraving all of Vulcan's markings/info onto your home built firearm and not having any of your info engraved on it, would violate Federal law/regulations.
^It would be subject to confiscation by the BATFE.

Going into Nevada this weekend and next week. One gun shop told me last time that Californians are stashing guns in gun safes in secured storage facilities but unless your moving what good does that do for you. Might as well hide them under the house. Maybe the best idea is to use what parts you can and stash the rest in a locked box.
