Another great case of gun store FUD. Agreed to PPT a complete lower from somebody on Calguns. Went to one gun store in the South San Francisco area--won't name because I liked them--and we tried to do the PPT, they refused because it had a bullet button. I told them that was not the law and said we'll go elsewhere (respectfully); they gave me attitude and started sarcastically repeating "that's not the law, we're liars." (I didn't call them liars or really say anything else other than "that's not the law, you can do the PPT." The a-hole sarcasm was uncalled for.) Called two other stores in the same area, both of which said they won't transfer a complete lower with evil features.
If you're going to run a gun store in California, you should know what the law is. We're already limited in what we can do without gun stores restricting it further. Two of these places (the one I've visited and one I called) are ones I've spent a lot of money at, too.
