I believe this whole country has lost common sense. Too many labels. Liberal, conservative, whatever. And very little of the facts are discussed. It's basically both sides using false narratives, and verbal terrorism for a personal agenda. Like Obama saying one time, people with a Bible in one hand and a gun in the other. If that didn't speak of white Bible belt folks, I don't knew what does. Also Trump spoke one time calling immigrants crossing the border, rapist, murderers and terrorist. Actually Hispanic America has strong family values. Yes there are those that rape, join gangs, murder etc. But you don't classify a whole group that way. That was wrong. Then the media calling Trump's travel ban a Muslim ban? It didn't cover Muslims from Indonesia, Saudi, Egypt, Philippines, and numerous other Muslim nations were not effected. Trump trade tariffs on steel and aluminum will help a couple of businesses, but hurt many others. Not a good move in my opinion. On here you can get away with lack of diplomacy, but a president can't, and Trump needs to learn that. I don't believe he actually colluded with the Russians, but if he did he needs to go. I also believe democrats that colluded with a foreign agent (Steele dossier) need to be investigated. They did with him what they are accusing Trump of doing with Russia. Hillary was illegally handling classified email, and lied to congress about it. Should be charged. FBI procedures on handling the hot tip line needs investigated. You can blame them, but what if they had one, two or three agents having to handle thousands of tips? Impossible. It also could have been some lazy agent dropping the ball, possible. We need to know and correct the issue. We need the facts, and that is what journalism should be seeking, instead they have joined the hate game and this is polarizing this nation in a way that will destroy it. When an American can't get true facts, conspiracies rule the day, and these conspiracies polarize the people.

It's not hard for me to imagine a civil war, wasting a lot of innocent lives, caused by impressionable youth being used as pawns in a game played out in the media and in Washington. Both sides are playing both sides. Take away guns, and it won't be long before they start driving cars through the school killing kids. If they are determined to kill, they'll get it done. When you pass a new law, it only effects the law abiding. The lawless lose no rights. Guns are banned in France, home of one of the greatest terrorist attacts that nation has ever seen, and done with full automatic AK 47's, carried out by the lawless. Once was said, give up your freedoms for security and you'll have neither. We need to become wiser, respect opinions, and discuss based on facts. Trump voters say he has done no wrong. Obama voters say he did no wrong. I believe both to be blind to the truth.

California school districts have long ignored or mimized poor student behavior in order to maximize graduation rates, keep dropouts off the books and maintain the highest body count (i.e., funding) as possible.

The high school graduation rate is the false metric that the liberal education establishment pursues. A California public high school diploma has become just a participation trophy. When these little morons from public schools go on to college many of them are deficient in reading and math so they are enrolled in remedial classes. But even higher education in the California State College System has been infected with the libtard disease; they want to increase the college graduation rate by eliminating the remedial classes that these "scholars" very much need.

Cal State will no longer require placement exams and remedial classes for freshmen

My daughter is an assistant high school principal in a large CA district. They have 4 full time security guards and a dedicated Sheriff who is to patrol on or within 1 mile of the school. He offered to leave a citation book with her so she could write the tickets for MJ possession, etc rather than him having to come write them. She declined and told him to do his job.

It would appear the democrat areas are the ones most likely to protect criminal student behavior which led directly to the latest 17 murders of HS students in Florida.
