I love it. Many news media outlets have stated that Dick's, unlike it's major firearm competitors, including Cabela's and Bass Pro Shop, has enacted it's own set of policies regarding the sale of certain firearms. Saying Dick's is a major competitor to Cabela's and Bass Pro Shop is like saying 7-11 stores are major competitors to Safeway. Dick's could close shop tomorrow and no one would know or care.

I think I've shopped at Dicks maybe 3 times but I'll make sure that never happens again. It amazes me that someone is willing to run a business into the ground to make a political statement.
