I can't help it say that we all saw this coming. If anybody thought that featureless was going to be a permanent work around, they were sadly misguided. It's either leave California or be subjected to the Jack booted thugs that are going to run this place pretty quickly

Some calgun members would rather surf n ski. Guns and the 2nd Amendment are just a hobby. They will obey.

Maybe if we let them take the featureless rifles they will leave the rest of our guns alone! We should comply.

Im actually helping the democrats write the next bill and the M1 garand is enemy #1. It will be very easy to ban the Garand, there are less Garands than featureless rifles. Slam dunk.

The conservative see's glass as half empty and tries to keep it that way.

My buddy has a place in Nevada. I'll buy my own safe to put in his house and worst case, if there are no options left but to RAW or get them out of the state, they will be stored there.
I pretty much only shoot my ARs when I'm hanging out with him anyways, so it's really not even a big inconvenience. Most of my range time is handguns.

Yep ARs have no business in CA. I wish all CA gun owners would be like you and get there killing machines out of CA. Good job comrade.

Hopefully with a lever gun. That Henry Long Ranger in 5.56 sure looks like a nice, friendly looking AR replacement.

Pre 1899 lever's don't need an FFL. Imagine how expensive those will get?

Instead of insults, accusations, an innuendo, how about some suggestions?
REAL suggestions that might have a chance of working and effecting change in this state?

We are out-voted in this state 2:1, so the ballot box is out.
We have no friends in the Courts until we get to SCOTUS
The left has a solid majority in both houses
The governor, and his successor, hold the same views, so even if we are somehow able to get a pro-gun bill through the state legislature, the governor will veto it, and we would not have the votes to override.

Please no suggestions about taking to the streets with arms or baseball bats. At best, that is a very short one-way trip to becoming a prohibited person in all 50 states. At worst, the problems in this state will no longer be your problems, but they will still be the problems of your survivors.

Our ONLY recourse is to continue to file costly lawsuits until we are able to get a favorable ruling that is not overturned on appeal.

Until then, we have no choice but to comply, leave the state, or bury our guns and never take them out in public.
There is really no difference between any of those three options.
                              - Rich
