    sell now or wait?

well i am moving out of ca ( better place to retire). just not sure if i should sell all, most, some. none. of my guns here.
i have some years to go, but that dead line will be here faster than one can think.
sure might get a better price in ca.
but in other states easer to sell.

some have said keep them in ca. but soon all of them will be illagel to own here.
even the one that was manf in the 1800's.

Sell off what you don't shoot or may want to use before you go. You'll get more here for them. As you get close to going. Sell off everything you don't really love or have an emotional attachment to. Why pay to move them just to sit in your brand new safe.

Sell your safe before you go. A pain and big expense to move and you can buy another when you get there.

That safe suggestion has come from every friend who moved out of state.

Sell now and then buy twice as many in your new free state.

Oh, and of course.... whatcha got? I’m buyin’! (always)

Sell 99.99% of what you have. Only keep what you need to keep you safe until you relocate and buy more again.

Keep the ones you like that are out of production.

Sell the ones that can be easily replaced or that you no longer care about enough.

Sell anything that is in current production even if you shoot it. Anything not manufactured anymore I would keep unless there is a high demand that encourages a premium.

Vultures. OP has not even made up his mind yet.

BTW, OP, I will offer $1.50 more more than either of them. [emoji16][emoji16][emoji16]

When I move from the this state I will sell off every off-roster gun I have so they can stay in the state.

They will be easy to replace in a free state, so no real loss.

I moved all my guns. I'm just wasn't ready to sell them yet. After I moved I sold some junk I wasn't using to make room in my safe for more. Turns out I had a little bit of pent up wants/needs so I bought a number of guns in a short period of time.

I sold no firearms when we moved. Took them all with me to be set free to run normal mags and features . However, I did sell my safe to a neighbor, and had a brand new even bigger and heavier one installed in the new house. Highly recommend that.
