gun grabber Sprint makes divorce difficult

Ever since my daughter set up sprint accounts (2012) Ive been bothered by Sprints choice to be on the NRA ANTIGUN list.
Recently a dimwitted now injured skier wearing Sprint logo said she would not attend a White House celebration because she doesn't like our president!

Further examination proved to me Sprint has contributed to some very bad democrat gun grabbers the worst being California's Henry Waxman!

Because of Sprints politics I have decided to change carriers. Unfortunately Sprint is jerking me around by not unlocking my phone. I have authorized a change of over $1000 to buy the phone and other fee's.

Does anyone have a remedy to force sprint to unlock my phone in a timely manner ?

While Im aware this is not exactly a general gun question it does show the character of corporations who have worked diligently to get on the NRA list!

Companies like att and Verizon require your contact was up or the phone was paid off before they would unlock
Does sprint have these same policies?
Pretty much every major corporation is anti gun. It's disappointing.

    Good luck

      Thank You
Yes I paid off the phone !
They started the unlock process which they claim is 4 to 7 days !
      I consider it harassment.

As a side T mobile is not on the NRA list .

I had AT&T unlock several phones of mine when I kicked them to the curb. They said it would take up to a week to do. I think the longest I waited was two days on one of them.

What I always done right when the phone is paid off is call sprint and tell them to unlock the phone which is done on the spot. Saves the trouble of say if I wanted to switch done the road. I'm gonna milk my sprint unlimited everything with discount with tethering as I'm grandfathered in.

I have never heard of anything like this and I had at one time two separate Sprint accounts. One through where I used to work(2012)and one I setup on my own(2014). I will say this, the day comes when Sprint or any other provider tries to dictate to me, they will be gone like a bad habit. Way to many less expensive options. I'm only still with them as it is because I don't want to buy new phones and one cant be unlocked and the other because of Sprints network. As a side note are you sure that your phone can be unlocked. Also Sprint's networks use CDMA technology so you may not be able to use your phone even if it gets unlocked on another network. That is the reason I'm still with them....https://www.whistleout.com/CellPhone...ferent-network

Go with Patriot Mobile (that's what we have now). They support NRA and other Conservative organizations of your choice.

                  That’s what I thought too!
However upon further research with Sprint it is a fact their financial contributions go to gun grabbing Democrats! Henry Waxman !!!!

Consequently when one signs up with a company on the NRA Anti gun list we are in fact contributors to the Democratic Party !

I do apologize to each cal gunner for taking this long to dump anti gun Democrat financiers Sprint !

And Patriot Mobile uses Sprint and Verizon Networks. Kind of hard to get away from the Monsters:

                      Company Host network GSM

Project Fi Sprint, T-Mobile, Three, U.S. Cellular Yes

Yup! you have to go through them but at least I know that Patriot Mobile is donating portion of my payment to NRA and other Conservative orgs.
