    that is what I have done. this is not a very big safe. not even what I would consider medium. It does have a 90 minute rating and a reasonable amount of steel plating to deter an amateur thief. hence the weight for this sized safe.

        Meh... I stay put for long periods. I've been here since '94. Moved into the place before that in '86 (rental).

        My safe will be a housewarming gift to the next owner.

                Successfully used that little carpet sliders to move my safe. And yes, my safe will be a surprise that comes with the house when we sell it.
