Anyhow, items at Target Sports USA were dwindled down and had to choose others.
SGAMMO is a ghost town for anything federal in 45 ACP.

        Just my little rant.
TargetSports has tons of 5.56 in stock.
Just ordered a couple more cases.

Everyone has .223 and 762x39 up to their ears.
Most all rifle cartridges are easily available.
It's the pistol cartridges that are scarce.
The cheap plinking and upper end defense are mostly gone.
The mid grade expensive stuff is still there.
At this point, as Pink Floyd puts it, I'm comfortably numb.
          I'm done. Got my stuff.

Prices would be somewhere between gun-store-extortionate and online prices. Pretty sure you could make massive bucks like that.
hmmm, this idea can work, but i'm not sure if one can sell at internet prices while in CA.

cost of labor, high taxes/fees, insurance, etc would automatically raise prices past out of state vendors.

but it is something to think about. wonder how much capital one would need to start this

He didn't say it would charge internet prices. It's an idea, a good one, and *will* be explored.

i agree, and i must have mis-read that part. now that i went back and re-read it, he does say between internet and CA store prices.

while i hope this ammo store would lean more towards internet pricing on the spectrum, knowing the hoops that a business has to jump through in CA, i'm sure it will be closer to gun store pricing.

i wonder if wal-mart pricing is right in this zone.

This is one law that I see nothing wrong with anyone who chooses to break it and ignore it by doing the above. This is about the equivalent of banning, regulating, and taxing tea. Is there a consequence? Yes, one that is academic, officiated by the court appointed them by the malice of our legislators, and deserves warning to the law-breaker.

However, I see no moral dilemma with breaking a law that blocks an action that infringes on nobody, and doing so puts nobody in harms way (not event the law-breaker), nor is a public safety issue. It presents no affront to anyone.

This is one that deserves civil-disobedience even if discreet and self-serving, to which at this point I cannot honestly say I will not be innocent.

You could also be the receiver. No $$$ in inventory, just a flat fee for
receiving, storing & running the check. Maybe charge extra for storing past x number fo days.

Right now I'm hoping my last several years of stockpiling doesn't go up in flames.

that is true. get a small store front, since you don't need to hold pallets of ammo. costs will only really consist of electricity, security, and a secure storage setup to be installed.
