Ammo getting wiped out for end of year purchases

Been stocking up for a while and just had a couple of items left on the list.
I waited till today for my last go around since my CC billing cycle ended yesterday (I pay it off at the end of each month. So no interest gets paid).

Anyhow, items at Target Sports USA were dwindled down and had to choose others.
SGAMMO is a ghost town for anything federal in 45 ACP.

    Just my little rant.

SGammo has some Fed .45ACP in the combo pack.

Like I said. Bought as much as I could for a long time.
My post is just for those last minute shoppers to get off their butts and get the last bits now.

Just did another SG order a week ago. Did not *need* it but WTH.

Wondering what the fees/storage costs/hoops/headaches are going to be like after the first of the year? I'm not waiting to find out.

ive been tellin you guys....... walmart is gonna look real good to ammo buyers next year. i was in turners yesterday and im hoping it was a mismark as federal automatch 22 was 29 bucks. which right now is more than twice what dicks has it on sale for and walmarts normal price is like 14 bucks. and last friday walmart had federal 550 round boxes of 22 for under 23 bucks. the biggest drawback to walmart is they cant order ammo for you.

Brownells finally ran out of the 14 cpr (free shipping, no tax) 9mm AE factory brass.

I think it's a hell of an idea to set up a warehouse-type ammo business post-2017. You order online, come in and pay if you haven't paid with card, one person runs your background, then you move to the next window where they hand you your order. Prices would be somewhere between gun-store-extortionate and online prices. Pretty sure you could make massive bucks like that.

                      ...Now that's funny!
LOL. How does one do that?

Back to the thread, I just got about 7,000 rounds of ammo (5000 rounds of 22lr, 1000 rds of .223 and 1000 rounds of 9mm). About $800 I think. My credit cards are bleeding too.

I just keep thinking, if any LEO inventories my stuff, They're going to find more than 10,000 rounds. Does that make me a "gun nut?" I mean, 5000 rounds of 22LR fits into a small box and doesn't cost that much.

Oh wait . . . is that Andre the Giant in the Princess Bride on Sundance right now? . . . . Later dudes.

Bought 14,000 rounds of .22lr this year. Didn't hurt the CC either. Trying to shore up some more 9mm before the year ends (sitting on 1,500 rounds), but fortunately there is 9mm a plenty everywhere.

I foresee my Vaquero not getting much use for a while, but with .22lr and 9mm I'm set with my two favorite firearms (Beretta M9 and Henry 22 Lever) for a longtime.

Tsk tsk, don't worry. I had 19k rounds delivered a couple of weeks ago. May buy more to add to my stock of.
