I use HST. And my concern is over penetration. I have neighbors all around me, so I would never use ball ammo. Liberals love to point to hollow points as ultra dangerous, I wonder if they have any clue that a major reason to use hollow points is to prevent over penetration.

Ruger SR1911 Commander, Winchester PDX1 Defender, 230 grain, bonded jacketed hollow point (supposedly low flash). Can't give you any info regarding experience related to shooting it in the house (not yet anyway).

        Any of these.
        Yep

And after a long time, the Ranger T is again available.

It went through his computer screen and the bullet was stuck in the wall right behind. Bullet did not leave the room. I went to see it in person and I was surprised how low the penetration was. I think HST is a great HD round based on what I have seen.
Did it hit a stud or did the dry wall stop it?

If bigger is better, get a conversion kit for your g21. Personally I'm sold on the Barnes 185 gr 45 in anything.

In a milspec 1911, I agree. With a Glock, it will feed any and all types of factory ammo 100%, rendering ball ammo an inferior choice.

Thank you all for your insight. It’s been great reading. I’ve been loading my 21 with pdx1 230gr for some years now but thankfully haven’t had to use it on any bad guys. It has worked well for me but I think I’ll give something else a try just for something to do.

                            Same here, PDX1 230gr but in a Glock 21SF

I'll second that. I've shot all three out of a 21 and that performed well.
