I agree with IVC that folks on this thread are being pretty pessimistic. I get where it comes from but all is not lost. We need to fight the good fight.

I see an Australian type ban where all semi auto guns go away. Bolts will be limited to 3-5. Everyone who wants a gun will need to get a license and education as well as mental health check annually. They will make the rules so onerous that you won't want to own a gun.

you can still buy a ar15 there.
