SGAmmo is out of several types of Grendel. Same with 9mm. The rush is on.

Brownell's is the go to for Grendel....if they have any left after having just placed my order.

No rush, anymore, I have a good amount, I do have some money to spend if a good price comes along.

If dealers want that money, then they'll have to produce some nice deals, otherwise I'll keep the cash.

I'm literally running out of places to put this stuff anyway, (actually run out of places), just finding new holes to put this stuff in now, it's not easy LOL.

I was at Bass Pro Shop in Manteca today, they're stocked pretty heavy, had boat loads of .22lr, I was there for a case of steel duck shotshell, was disappointed they didn't have any Federal Black Cloud or Kent Fasteel 10-pack cases, just loose 25-rd boxes, they still gave you a case discount if you bought 10 or more but I like to buy it in the factory 10-pack case.

Last time I was there I was disappointed, their bulk prices were all higher than Natchez even after factoring in shipping ;/

Were you there in the past week because almost all their duck loads are on sale this week.

Gotcha, I assumed you were talking about shotshells. I agree, their centerfife ammo prices are more expensive than mail order, they're typically only competitive when they put ammo on sale. Tax vs mail order freight is a wash although SGammo can be very competitive on freight with multi case discounts.

Here's the Federal American Eagle mail in rebate form for .223 and 5.56 if you haven't seen it,

Some places say "California resident" and in other places it says, "persons within California". It's almost as if the law is vague on purpose to allow LE and the courts to interpret it however they want down the road. But yeah, if it turns out that this all applies only to residents, I'll buy it on my way down from Alaska, after I get through Canada. But I have a feeling it's not going to be so cut and dried as that. In the mean time, I have a stash stored away in CA just in case. At least the Jan 2018 portion is all on dealers, and not buyers. But I suspect that will drive prices up within the State a bit. The regs coming later are going to muddle the issue and, I suspect, most dealers won't have clarity on it and may just refuse to sell to out-of-State residents just to avoid any possible hassles.
At the least you need that stupid ammo buyer permit.

Ironically here in my local AZ Walmart there is no .22. Never has recovered from the shortage. The most I've seen in the case was 3 boxes, and that was only once.

I went to Bass Pro in Manteca this evening and they had TONS of ammo and it all seemed really overpriced. It doesn't seem like Bass Pro's prices were always this bad. 1k rounds of Federal American Eagle for 399. Ouch. My buddy bought some fishing stuff and I bought a bottle of water.
