    Whatever happened to 44Cannon?

He was a frequent poster back when I first arrived (Dec 2004).

    He was, um, creative.

44Canon was full of misconceptions and poor spelling. Nevertheless he seemed like a good guy.

I gather his legal issues are being resolved. I would like to find out more details however. These appear to be local beefs that he speaks of in his 'Important Notice'.

It's never funny to laugh at the misfortunes of others. Especially gun nuts like ourselves. Not many of us in this state you know.

Gee, does anyone know what charges were filed against him (that he subsequently fought and "won")?

I vaguely remember his postings, if he was otherwise a normal guy (save the spelling errors and grammar), then it just goes to show that ANYONE could get nabbed at anytime for anything - right or wrong.

What a scary country we live in!

                        A Canon44 Design
The LRB (Long-Action Rotary Bolt) Magnum original started as an idea to make an enhanced lower frame for the Magnum Research Desert Eagle and then an attempt to come up with a reliable version of the Desert Eagle and has evolved in to a completely new design with features that are brand new to the world of handguns. Some of these features include a rotery bolt mounted trigger drop safety, completely automatic slide release controls with ambidextrous manual options, multiple components for the grip body, side mounted mainspring and more. The gun also uses a high-capacity 14 round magazine in .44 Magnum! Because it is a rotary bolt design with an inertia spring, the gun can reliably fire anything from the hottest .44 Magnum loads down to cast .44 special loads and even intermix them in a single magazine. Although hands-on production of a working prototype were started back in December, KT Ordnance has received the blueprints to this gun and may end up making and completing one at any time. The blueprints that KT Ordnance received DO NOT include the built-in MSLS which are part of the plans for the prototype that was started on in January. Picture above is of the latest and more then likely final design minus the MSLS.

NOTE: Magnum Research is not at this time affiliated with this project in any way.

This is true...in fact I finally finished the 9mm all the way, except for sighting device...I put a bolt travel stop in it (rear travel) and a trunnion extension (front travel) so now it wont beat itself to death on extraction. The top cover got a new retention tab and the handguard got permanently mounted.

Its officially ready to go try and blow up

Just gotta get to a range or somewhere where I can sand bag it...

I'll post pics when my digi-cam gets back from Frisco (with the wife)

I was not laughin so much as I was saying he was, and proably still is touched. He and I had nothing in common. He was the word "Bombasic" incarnate. If you ever saw one of his designs you would have trouble keeping in your lunch.

I have a headache just thinking about him again

Oh, and JPglee1 please dont call it Frisco. Have respect for me at least, I was born there. It is San Francisco or SF, thanks in advance.
