I want reports when you're done there.
I have been jonesing for a decent gun show to attend for 15 years now that didn't involve leaving the state.
I am now willing to drive 100 miles...

    If it's a good show.

Will do. Be glad to. No Charge. But you will have to pay shipping & handling fees of $19.95, in advance.

Any one go to this? I am semi curious how it went.

Usually CA gun shows are a no go for me. I enjoy the crossroads show in Reno and don't mind taking the drive.

The Big Reno Gun Show is the best! Just too far for me usually.

I went downtown today and was pleasantly surprised how crowded it was. People were shoulder to shoulder down most of the aisles at 11:30 a.m.

All the usual suspects were there like at the Turlock show- took up the main ballroom of the DoubleTree hotel / civic center. Sierra Arms was doing a land-office business selling something - not sure what since I couldn't get near their table - maybe shotguns?

Prepper stuff, collector stuff, new guns, old guns/rifles, military style clothing, ammo vendors, lots of AR15 stuff trying to beat the new law coming up re: bullet-buttons. DoubleTree needed to turn the AC or fans on - it was getting warm in there.

I'm glad to see it in Modesto - just 15 minutes away! I'd go again.

              Good report.

I've never actually been to the BIG Reno show.

Just the Crossroads of the West show which is useful for me at the ammo section and mag section.

Droped by the Paso Robles Gun show this morning.

Very sad, got there around 9:45 or so. Parking lot was a joke, all most empty plus they now charge $5.00 parking! Same vendors, Mil/Wall doing a brisk business, some powder but no primers. That is it for me!

Any other reports on the Modesto show?

I went and it was crowded. Way better than the previous gun shows but nothing like the ones 20+ years ago. I will just hit up the local gun shops if I need to purchase anything.

I went. A bunch of overpriced crap. Nothing like the gun shows they had in Modesto 15-20 years ago. Bass Pro has better guns then what I saw there

How was the beef jerky selection?
Buy made in USA whenever possible.
