Money should of been spent on hiring another police officer. I think when I was talking to one of their officers a few years ago they said they had a grand total of 7 guys working a Friday night shift for a city with over a 100k people.

They said the guns are made into art pieces... should be made into a modern version of the iron throne. Course they'll probably be made into some lame anti gun piece.

        Oh, this will certainly work...
"According to the table, the overall crime rate is 63% higher than the average of crimes committed in California.
It is also 74% higher than the national average. When it comes to violent crimes, Vallejo, CA
shows a crime rate that is 99% higher than the California average. The crime rate is also 128% higher than the national average.
When it comes to property crimes, Vallejo, CA is shown to be 57% higher than the California average and 65% higher than the national average."

Sounds about right. I friend of mine left San Pablo PD to go to work at Vallejo. I asked him if he saw any difference because essentially San Pablo is an Island surrounded by Richmond. He said in San Pablo everyone you try to arrest runs from you. In Vallejo, everyone you arrest wants to fights you. He has since left Vallejo to become a pilot after he almost got killed at the Starbucks.

Damn, one guy surrendered 32 collectibles. Maybe has no family or friends, and he's too old to deal with selling them?

You won't get anything, CA buybacks don't play that, people have tried.

Wish I'd have known about this. I have a ****-pot-metal Lorcin that I've been waiting to get rid of. $100 for it would be fantastic!

So it's OK to let the cops DESTROY EVIDENCE for the criminals who then get off scot free because they handed a dirty gun in?

Did I say that or are you just trying to put words in my mouth?

Because I didn't say that and it's a real thing. In fact, here's a recent no questions asked buyback in Los Angeles.

YOU asked a question, and I answered in the affirmative. I never challenged the legalities or the intentions of it. But keep talking, I'd like to see where this goes.

I wasn't trying to put words in your mouth. I was asking a question about WTF happens when a gun is handed in "no questions asked". Do they even check the ballistics and record a licence plate just in case it's been used in a crime or is the gun destroyed without checking? If the latter...

I think that one on the right is even a fully semi automatic ghost gun, look at the high capacity armor piercing clip!
