Bobcat will not sell direct. They sell through their distributers only. Do NOT call Bobcat directly. They are paranoid about CA so don't call them and make it worse. They are even paranoid about return shipping to CA after warranty work.

+1 for Atlantic Firearms. They know the drill.

It is relatively simple to take a metal trigger pack, remove the PG, cut off the PG support, and form a nub. Do a search and you will find several posts about gripless HK trigger packs for CA compliance.

Extra $75 seems a little bit too much in my opinion. There are some companies with better prices. I paid extra $20 for my HK91 clone and nothing on my HK94 clone.

I have both and each has its +/-'s The CX-4 is almost all plastic and I don't really like having a plastic trigger alonbg with some other 'crucial' parts. It is light, has a long sight radius and there are some accessories for it.

The Bobcat BW-5 is also quite nice. Everything was put together well and aside from the frame, it's all HK parts. Yes, there have been issues with some peoples clones, but Bobcat is not a sub sompany of Todd Bailey.

You need to have it sent to another place like Cold War Shooters and get it neutered

I got to fire a CX4 at a rental range here about a year ago before they had to send it back to the distributor. It was a good example of how a pistol caliber carbine could evolve. It was lightweight, accurate and reliable. I wish there was a way to own one here but so far that ain't gonna happen.

I guess the DOJ got to them.

I wonder why Blain has changed his mind about sending barreled receivers here?
