IIRC if you got $30K to burn and live in Montana you can legally get a full auto gun.

You may need to do a bit more research on that statement, because it is not even close to being correct. Plenty of state's allow possession of full auto or select fire. While it is true that they are mostly very expensive and have to be pre 86 builds, they can and are owned in many states.
