    Panic! At the Gunshow.

I was in line when the doors opened at Cow Palace this morning. After walking around the show for about twenty minutes, I headed over to the ammo table. What a mob scene! People are leaving with hand trucks stacked to the top with cases of ammo. I just wanted a few boxes of .30 carbine and it took a long while for one of the cashiers to get to me. Made it out, though.

At that rate, there won't be anything left for tomorrow!

Get it while it's hot, I guess.

Was this at Miwall's table? They always bring a big ole truck loads worth of ammo - The last show they had 2 trailers full - They planned for this -

    How was the show otherwise?

i just returned from the show. it was as busy as i've seen it in the last 4-5 years. the Miwall table was chaos, more so than usual. ~90% of the shotgun stuff looked already cleared out. alot of the 45acp ammo was already cleared out too. i got tired of waiting so i took off. hopefully i didnt make a fatal mistake of thinking there will still be some left tomorrow...

Yeah it was Miwall. I've been to this show a few times, and this time, there was definitely the most stuff. Only one or two jerky tables! There were a couple of tables just selling EBRs, and they seemed to be doing well.

Got myself a sling for my new M1 Carbine, some ammo, and a new range bag. If I had the money, I would have walked out with the paperwork for a GSG-5 and an M1 Garand, but I haven't hit the lottery just yet.

Did you stop off at the Calguns booth?

Got to ask - The Shamwow booth?

Everyone must have stocked up on Shamwow at the last show. There was no crowd around the Shamwow booth.

Interesting to see that the CGN booth was right next to the Truthers booth. Ivan was busy popping mags in and out of various magwells.

Big crowd at the show, though there seemed to be fewer vendors this time around. Some wider spacing between several of the rows and a couple of the rows were shorter than usual.

High traffic at Miwall, CWS and other EBR parts vendors. Didn't pay too much attention to ammo prices, but noticed that PMC .223 was going for $399/1000. Hornady steel-cased .223 was going for $160/500.

Someone was there selling lots of 5.11 gear (pants, shirts, belts, etc).

What a Zoo! Got there early and still was a wait. CalGuns booth was super. MiWal powder table was pretty well wiped out by 10:00 AM. They did have 8# jugs of Varget for $145.00 but no LR primers. The 5.11 pants/shirts/belts was really nice. $10-$15 for shirts, bought 2 pairs of tactical pants for $25 each plus 5.11 riggers belt for $20.

How would one know this? Are walmart's ammo boxes marked differently?
