CA compliant Honey Badger?

Okay so how hard would it be to put a spring in the safety lever that makes it return to 'safe' after each shot?

Then it wouldn't be a semi auto right?

If we could retrofit all these ARs with an affordable device, CA legislators would crap their pants.

some suggested in that article's comments is that it may use a double action trigger.

the pull fires the gun like normal
the reset of trigger (i guess you can call it the push) releases the bolt.

so pretty much their idea is that the gun locks the bolt back after each shot, and when you "push" the trigger back out it releases the bolt. since that is considered a separate action (by federal, and i'm unsure by CA standard) it is not a semi-auto.

this i believe would be much more easy to use than a safety switch each time you fire. and you can't just "hold" the switch down thus negating the function.

if this is what the honey badger is, then i would be very interested in picking one up as long as it is priced under $1500. or even better is if they can make the lower part function with all AR uppers on market.
