CTD *chooses* not to sell certain items to customers in CA.

There is nothing legally that would compel any company to sell anything to anyone, so it's up to the company to define its own policy. You'll find many companies and individuals who don't want to deal with CA. Arguing that it's not against the law would miss the point - it's not a matter of law, it's a matter of policy.

CTD was great 10 years ago.
They must have sold out to a retail maroon.
I hope the previous owners sold at a very high price and are living in their paradise.

Cheaper than dirt refused to sell me a buffer tube kit because it could be used to make my ar15 non compliant...? it was just a cheap buffer tube kit... I don't understand its my first build what is going to make it non compliant? They are the only parts I have left to acquire.

Anyway, now you know. I hope you boycott them now. There are plenty of better companies out there. You can just google whatever part you need and you'll see plenty of options. Also check out Calguns Marketplace.

I've only purchased ammo from them over the years and no complaints. I just have it shipped to my Oregon domicile since the CA stuff went down, since that's where the weapons are anyway. So far, so good.

I take it other sources for buffer tubes are available? When one source proves unfruitful, move down the list.

CTD approached me about them selling my Kits.
I asked that if they sold the Kits would they ship them to CA?
They said no.
So I said no.
