I don't normally go to Target 'cause I needed spray paint once and they didn't have it. Then they didn't have model glue for plastic airplane models. Then they didn't have ammo.

Any of the responses say WHY they don't sell ammo?

we should all email again urging for a pilot program, one in SoCal & one in the SF Bay area. So they can watch the ammo fly off by the pallets.

They can have a separate room like the porn section in a video store so no libs will hurt their eyes.

I wrote them too, and here's the reply I got back:

          Dear mbrown,

Thanks for writing Target with your suggestion that we should carry ammunition in our store.

As you may know, Target doesn’t sell ammunition and we haven’t for years. We appreciate your thoughtful suggestion and we’ve shared your comments with our buyers and product assortment teams.

I’d also like to direct you to read our Corporate Responsibility Report to learn more. You can read this report at:

It great to hear about ways you're looking to save even more at Target.

          Sincerely,

          Target Guest Relations

I read their Corporate Responsibility document and this is what it says about guns:

"Not only does Target not sell real guns, we stopped selling
realistic toy guns in the early 1990s. Today, toy guns on our
shelves are limited to those that are brightly colored or oddly
shaped and couldn’t be mistaken for actual weapons."

Apparently, not facilitating Americans in the exercise of their 2nd amendment rights is Target's idea of being a responsible company. Wal-Mart, here I come!
