    I got my response too...

    Dear Mario,

Thanks for writing Target with your suggestion that we should carry ammunition in our store.

As you may know, Target doesn’t sell ammunition and we haven’t for years. We appreciate your thoughtful suggestion and we’ve shared your comments with our buyers and product assortment teams.

I’d also like to direct you to read our Corporate Responsibility Report to learn more. You can read this report at:

It great to hear about ways you're looking to save even more at Target.

    Sincerely,

    Michael

        +1 That would be awesome.

I used to dream of opening a gunstore very similar to CostCo and calling it "The CostCo of Gunstores".

I always got a kick off of imagining pallets of SKS's with barrels sticking out from the pallet while being lifted by a forklift.

Probably right. I used to work there they had a strict no-weapons policy. So did Sears and it's divisions (like Orchard's Supply).

Isn't Target bag full of targets prints?
'Cuz big holes are easier to see.

Trust me I found a deal once at Costco on artichoke hearts in the five gallon glass jar. Do you have any idea how long it takes to eat five gallons of artichoke hearts? Even if you like artichoke hearts, after the first gallon you are sick of them, and then it drags on forever. Finally you pitch the last two gallons of uneaten artichoke hearts and vow never to eat another artichoke heart as long as you live. And on that day you go shopping at Costco and you can't resist the seven pound jar of jalapeno stuffed green olives...
Well, that made my day. I got some Carcano ammo you might like...

I bought my first box of 12 guage slugs at Target with my Dad when I was a kid.

Why even try to get a store like K Mart or Sears to carrie ammo.

I sent and e mail to Target and actually got a phone call the other day. They were wondering what prompted the influx of emails regarding ammo sales. I told them the fact that we need it and just would like to see another store carry it and make some revenue from us hunters and shooters.

i got an email back saying they have had quite a few of the same suggestion, and that they appreciate my inquiry to better there business. they talked about not having sold ammo for several years, but didn't mention their intentions for their future.

Wow, at least they're listening. Even if they still don't sell ammo, it's nice to know that they listen to the responses of the public.
