A thread on the shooting range that is on the Chevron refinery lands in Richmond got me thinking about old shooting ranges that either few people know about, or are gone but their bones are still showing.
Here are the ones that come to mind for me.
Chevron Rod & Gun Club (Richmond)
Note that I'm not positive that this is the actual range, but it sure looks like it from the photos. Someone said it is now inactive, but I don't know for sure.


East Bay Parks Police Range (Coyote Hills/Newark)
I believe this range has been defunct for years


Fort Cronkhite rifle range (Marin Headlands/Sausalito)
Definitely defunct. Probably since the 1960s.
