    Build Party?

Seems like there are quite a few of us interested in this. Any possibility of a build party?

They do not look hard at all to build, but after the tally it seems like an MPA MAC clone for 500$ is a better buy then trying to weld up your own gun.
There are 3 kinds of people in this world.
The wise, learn from the mistakes of others.
The smart, learn from their own mistakes.
The others, well......they just never learn.

I was thinking the same thing. I've been eyeing a side cocker MPA Mac 11 for a while now. At $500 that's not too different from building your own. The only real reason to build your own is the satisfaction of knowing you did it yourself.

Very true, but not as rewarding.

And you have a legal UNREGISTERED firearm.

That would rock, but aren't you supposed to register them eventually?

there is no requirement that you ever register a homebuilt firearm.

Do you want an AOW or C&R SBS/SBR in CA?

I'm interested in building a mac-11. The kit sold on ftfindustries is for sten magazines, though. Does anyone know where to find sten magazine parts kits, or like a modified 10 round sten magazine.

By the way, I would also be interested in a build party, if anyone is a good welder.

I think I've seen them at Copes Distributing, but none right now.

I know tapco makes a new plastic 32rd sten mag. But I haven't found any cal legal 10/32 versions with reducer rivets yet, or any parts kits of them.
Think I might have to buy that glock clip conversion, because it will be easier to get a hold of cal legal clips and mag parts kits.
